About the Role

We're looking for an experienced

Cloud Engineer to join our growing tech team. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and efficient. Main Accountabilities and Key Tasks:

  • Collaborate with architects to design and deploy AWS applications at scale.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud components for performance, uptime, and cost.
  • Identify legacy systems suitable for cloud migration and lead modernization efforts.
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect and prevent issues.
  • Write clear, effective documentation for cloud architecture and operations.
  • Work through the full development lifecycle for AWS-based projects.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Partner with Security, DevOps, and Engineering teams to enforce cloud security and best practices.

    • Knowledge and experience:

  • 3+ years in a similar cloud-focused role.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
  • Experience and understanding of building VPC’s in AWS – including subnets, route tables, NACLs, Internet Gateways and NAT gateways/instances.
  • Experience with EC2, Load Balancers,AutoScaling groups.
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
  • Strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, or CIS is a plus.
