About the Team and the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute on a strategic market development plan, aligning with the business's strategic direction and partnering with key internal stakeholders
• Identify and engage key partners, including retailers, ISVs, and system integrators, to drive business growth and expansion
• Build and manage a business development pipeline, engaging with key prospects and partners to drive revenue growth
• Understand the technical requirements of customers and work closely with internal development teams to guide the direction of product offerings
• Present business reviews to senior management, providing progress updates and roadblocks to expanding reach in the retail industry
• Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group to ensure successful partnership agreements
• Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast-paced environment of emerging and nascent technologies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience responding to requests for proposals, determining requirements, and developing solutions
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience negotiating software and services agreements
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
• MBA
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
