Description

SAIC is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer, to support electrical design and development projects, and contribute to documentation, testing, and problem-solving activities. This position is 100% remote.

The Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following

• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Work on schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype assembly.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Document test results and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance; Interim secret required to start.

• Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
• Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems.
