QA Mobile Automation Engineer

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong expertise in UI automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, POM) and API automation (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate DSL).
- Hands-on experience in mobile automation with Appium and other frameworks (Espresso, XCUITest, Detox).
- Familiarity with DevOps/QAOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS).
- Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data management.
- Exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.) and low-code tools (Katalon, TOSCA).
- ISTQB® CTFL and Appium Certified Developer.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills in English for direct client interaction.
- English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities
- Plan, design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for test automation in web, API, and mobile applications.
- Log and triage defects, retest fixes, and deliver clear reporting.
- Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define and execute test automation strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders on test planning and execution.
- Monitor test progress, ensure exit criteria are met, and maintain QA metrics.
- Support the selection and integration of automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
