Job Description
As an Online Italian (DITALS) Teacher with Babbel Live, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online language classes to students from around the world. Your expertise and passion for teaching will be the foundation of our students' language learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality online language classes to students of various levels and backgrounds
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and learning styles
- Use prepared teaching materials and adapt them to suit the needs of your students
- Communicate effectively with the Teacher Relations Team to ensure seamless support and coordination
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices
Essential Qualifications:

Fluency in Italian:
You must have an outstanding command of the Italian language, either as a native speaker or with an official C2 CEFR certificate.
Teaching Certificate:
You hold a teaching certificate in DITALS from a recognized educational institution.
Teaching Experience:
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Italian as a second language.
Technical Skills:
You're highly familiar with Zoom.us and have experience using virtual classroom software.
Communication and Connectivity:
You're able to bridge the virtual gap by keeping students engaged and motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a Language-Related Field:
A degree in a language-related field is a plus, but not required.
Online Teaching Experience:
Experience teaching groups online is a plus, but not required.
Technical Equipment:
You have a high-speed internet connection, a headset with microphone, and a laptop/desktop with a camera.
