Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our team in Guyana. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value debts that cozy new products, fee pricing, and comfort to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on our business and help us grow our e-commerce platform in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify product selection gaps and execute GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform.
  • Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Seller Support and Guidance: Provide guidance to sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including statistics-driven insights that help sellers achieve high requirements of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor problems.

Primary Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, preferably in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or a related industry.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Product Knowledge: Enjoy promoting nascent products/offers into new markets.
  • Communication Skills: Advanced communication and presentation skills, a robust working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • Business Acumen: Remarkable commercial business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills and quantitative abilities, with a comfort level with complex financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • E-commerce Experience: 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Customer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in customer electronics is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
