Operations & Strategy Associate

HockeyStack is an Applied AI company on a mission to automate sales, marketing, and customer success for B2B companies. We build the most complete and accurate picture of the B2B buyer by integrating with every tool your team uses, partnering with third-party data providers, and deploying custom AI research agents. We use this data to power applications that automate high-value, high-complexity workflows across the go-to-market and revenue teams. Our core products include:

• Marketing Intelligence – instantly answers questions like “What led to that sudden drop in pipeline?”

• Account Intelligence – surfaces next-best actions to help reps move target accounts toward conversion

Since launching in January 2023, we’ve come through Y Combinator, raised a $20M Series A led by Bessemer. We’re growing 3× year-over-year, have hit multimillion ARR, and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. Based at our San Francisco HQ, we operate fully in-person, move fast and hire people who are ready to win.

Your Mission

We’re hiring a Operations & Strategy Associate to support our Operations and Finance team. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll help run core processes, drive strategic initiatives, and directly shape how we scale. You’ll gain exposure across finance, operations, and GTM strategy, with a 360° view of how a high-growth SaaS startup operates.

This is a bootcamp for becoming a mini-COO, future operator, or founder someday.

What You’ll Do

• Solve high-impact problems across finance, operations, strategy, and GTM

• Own strategic initiatives end-to-end: analyze, recommend, execute

• Support company building: financial modeling, planning, org design, compensation

• Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams

• Build processes and systems that scale with growth

• Prepare materials for board, investors, and leadership

• Mindset: No task is too big or too small — one day you might model ARR, the next streamline payroll, the next brainstorm GTM strategy with the founders.

As part of our San Francisco, California-based team, the on target earnings range for this role is $125,000– $150,000 USD annually, plus performance-based bonus, depending on experience and qualifications.
