Senior Data Analyst, Strategic Finance

Vanta is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Strategic Finance team. This high-impact role will be pivotal in uncovering insights that shape company-wide planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will blend analytical rigor, technical fluency, and business acumen to steer financial strategy and identify opportunities for scalable growth, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the company to deliver data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis or equivalent function
• Experience within SaaS, consulting, or investment banking types of industries is preferred
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma)
• Experience handling large and complex data sets
• Familiarity with DBT is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• A Master’s degree or higher is a plus
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, uncover key insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies that drive financial outcomes
• Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and building relationships across business teams
• Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
