Life Science Account Manager (Sales Area Campania / Molise)

Overview

The account manager LSG professionally promotes and sells the specified range of Life Science products (Molecular Biology, Proteomics, Cell Biology) to accounts within the defined territory to achieve or exceed sales target acting as principal Bio-Rad contact for each assigned accounts in a high-functioning team and reporting to the Field Sales Manager.

The position encompasses prospections of new customers, qualification of prospects, analyses of needs and proposal elaboration, sales negotiation, sales maintenance, contract management (renewal and extensions), activities with existing and new customers to develop trust and business volume, developing customer satisfaction and Bio-Rad’s brand image.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Selling and promoting the Bio-Rad Life Science products to meet the sales goals for the assigned territory
  • Developing and executing a business plan managing the territory in a structured, organized and compliant way
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities demonstrating a thorough understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and results monitoring
  • Collaborating with other functions (Customer Service, Field Application Scientists, Service, etc.) to meet customer requests/deadlines.

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in the business area
  • Customer facing experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Fluent in Italian & working level English
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment plus ideally 2 years’ selling experience within a Life Science company
  • Availability to travel: full driving license is essential as the roles requires extensive travel around assigned area and might include overnights in some occasions.
