Job Summary: Restaurant Team Member - Cashier

As a Cashier at Panera Cafe, you'll be the friendly face of our brand, welcoming customers, taking orders, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that leave a lasting impression. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience: Welcome customers, take orders, and deliver exceptional customer experiences that meet or exceed expectations
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing situations, such as high-volume periods or equipment malfunctions, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Cashier at Panera Cafe, you'll need:
