Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to the success of our team. You will work closely with our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Register sales on assigned cash registers, provide customers with fast, and efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately.
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, and utilize pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Process prescriptions, verify medication, and check for possible interactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays.
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as processing manual claims, handling telephone calls, and assisting with inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and terminology.
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Certification in pharmacy-related fields, such as pharmacy technician.
  • Experience with pharmacy systems and software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
