Comprehensive Training and Support

To ensure your success in this role, blithequark will provide paid, comprehensive training that equips you with the tools and resources needed to deliver the highest level of service, support, and professionalism to our customers. Our training program is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills required to excel in this position.

Remote Work Arrangement with Flexible Options

This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. If you're within a 50-mile radius of our Sacramento, CA location, you'll have the opportunity to visit our office to pick up equipment. For those outside this radius, we'll mail the necessary equipment to you. We're committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

Interview Schedule and Anticipated Start Date

Interviews for this position will be held from October 7th, 2024, to October 11th, 2024. We're excited to meet our future team members and discuss how you can contribute to our customer service excellence. The anticipated start date for this role is October 29th, 2024.

Compensation and Benefits Package

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • A base rate of $18.00 per hour
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k benefits available

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required
  • Must submit a speed test via speedtest.net, with download speeds of at least 60mbps and upload speeds of at least 6mbps
  • Experience working with computer software, customer relationship management tools, and telephone technology
  • Experience working with and skilled in the use of help desk software
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving skills in complex situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with CRM ticketing solutions and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Knowledge of regulations and policies related to the industry

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to general to moderately complex telephone calls and troubleshooting customer issues
  • Researching member or provider calls/inquiries and responding to appropriate parties in accordance with SLAs
  • Recording calls in a CRM ticketing solution, resolving customer requests/inquiries, and updating CRM history
  • Interfacing with team personnel, management, and customers regarding customer service issues
  • Conducting outbound calls to customers as needed
  • Responding to numerous phone inquiries daily and utilizing standard call-center technology
  • Assisting callers in completing online applications and adhering to privacy rules
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies and reporting problems through our online system
  • Responding to telephone inquiries within set time parameters and completing assigned training

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

As a remote worker, you'll be required to:

  • Work from a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions
  • Wear a mask when interacting with colleagues or visiting our office (as recommended by CDC guidelines)
  • Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required
  • Possess corrected vision within the normal range and hearing within normal range
  • Have sufficient manual dexterity to operate an online computer terminal and other standard office equipment
