Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Medicare team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries. You will work closely with customers to resolve problems, provide solutions, and ensure that their needs are met. This is a 100% remote position, and you will be required to work from anywhere within a one-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other Medicare-related services

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a 5-star experience
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
  • Navigate through multiple systems to access customer information and resolve issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone, ensuring that complex messages are clearly conveyed
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Call Center Customer Service experience, with a focus on inbound calls (no telesales)

  • Excellent customer-focused competencies, with a strong service-oriented mindset
  • Empathy and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems at a time
  • ALL candidates must score a 80% or above on eSkills test

Preferred Qualifications

* HS Diploma or GED with 2 years of customer service experience/call center experience

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Previous Medicare experience
  • Call Center Customer Service experience (Inbound calls)
  • Medical background helpful
