Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling customer inquiries, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. This is a remote data entry position, and you will be required to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and filling prescriptions accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information, prescription data, and inventory levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and data security.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration, business).

  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology, including electronic health records and prescription management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

* PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Previous experience working in a retail or healthcare environment.
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescriptions.

  • Familiarity with inventory management and stock control systems.
