Job Summary

As a Remote Network Protection Examiner, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Home Depot's sensitive information and critical resources from current and emerging threats. You will work closely with our innovation partners to identify key controls and configuration testing to assess control effectiveness across the organization. Your expertise will be essential in identifying, testing, measuring, and analyzing controls and threats across our technical infrastructure, including networks, equipment, databases, software, cloud, and SaaS components.

Key Responsibilities

* 30% Investigation: Perform information gathering, combination, and develop solutions to support THD Cybersecurity practices.

• 30% Collaboration: Work with teams to identify patterns and resolve issues.
• 40% Drive Execution: Assess data and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Collaborate with key partners to scope in key controls, plan testing methodology, analyze data, and identify and report any issues found.
• Work autonomously and support other colleagues to complete expectations.
• Perform information gathering, investigation, combination, and develop solutions to support THD Cybersecurity practices.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a field of study connected to the job.

• 4+ years of experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a field of study connected to the job.

• 6+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with Home Depot's systems, processes, and technologies.
• Certification in a relevant cybersecurity field (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH).
