Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced online Japanese language teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a motivated client who is eager to learn Japanese and explore its rich culture. As an online Japanese language teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality language lessons to our client via Zoom video-conference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 46 hours of online Japanese language lessons to a client in Oakland, CA (US Pacific time)
- Teach general Japanese language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the client's needs and interests
- Use a variety of teaching materials and resources to facilitate learning
- Provide regular feedback and assessments to track client progress
- Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Essential Qualifications:
* Native English speaker or equivalent language proficiency
- Teaching degree or certificate (or equivalent experience)
- Experience as an online trainer or language instructor
- Availability to tutor twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00pm (California time- US PDT)
- Own computer and fast broadband connection
- Ability to commit to the full 46-hour course duration
Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Experience working with adult learners or professionals
