The Marketing team plays an important role in cultivating a culture that inspires learners to propel Disney excellence by unlocking their talents and capabilities through ongoing growth and development. To do so, this role drives the overall communications strategy and execution for Disney University, supports learning initiatives and provides communication support to Disney University programs and projects.This role requires a high level of collaboration and integration to align efforts around messaging, positioning and prioritizing. This role supports others within the Disney University Marketing, Learning Strategy and Learning Operations teams to clearly communicate offerings in a way that motivates and engages learners. The Marketing Manager reports to the Manager, Disney University Marketing.What You Will Do:Collaborate across teams to align the learning goals with communications strategy for learning experiences across the segment as well as for individual businesses and individual learnersDevelop identities for course/programming brands, marketing strategies and integrated communications plans for various types of learning programsHelp manage content on disneyuniversity.com, potential mobile sites/apps, email and other communication platformsDevelop detailed copy, visuals and graphics to support learning offerings and associated marketing and comms plansMeasure the impact of marketing and communication strategies as well as site traffic on various sites/apps to determine what drives participation and interest; influence the positioning, tone and content for learning engagementIntegrate with broader Disney Experiences Communications teams to publicize learning offerings in relevant internal communication vehiclesProactively generate big-picture thinking and seek out innovative and creative approaches to communication campaigns with an eye toward accessibility, diversity and inclusionIdentify creative solutions to capture the attention of learners and program participantsDevelop and sustain strong working relationships with members of the broader learning team as well as key internal partnersRequired Qualifications & Skills: At least 5 years of prior experience in marketing, internal communications, public relations, or equivalent Proficiency with the technical aspects of producing and publishing digital media content, including proficiency in industry relevant graphic design software to create graphical content and assetsKnowledge of web publishing software and coding including HTML and CSSAbility to synthesize large amounts of information into compelling stories and communications strategiesHigh-level capacity to be a strong communicator, collaborator and influencer with strong written communication and visual design skillsAbility to communicate ideas in a fast-paced creative environmentPossess strong attention-to-detail for proof reading, quality control and consistencyStrong creative sensibilities, thinks innovatively and is willing to take risksAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while effectively managing competing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications: Prior Disney Experience highly preferredEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience - preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fieldDisability accommodation for employment applicationsThe Walt Disney Company and its Affiliated Companies are Equal Employment Opportunity employers and welcome all job seekers including individuals with disabilities and veterans with disabilities.
