Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk / Part-time, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering personal customer information into databases as collected upon forms or spreadsheets
  • Reviewing all data for errors and reporting unusual findings to management
  • Collecting and determining the completion of all information before entering data into software programs
  • Scanning and printing required documents needed to collect information for data entry
  • Working following privacy guidelines as dictated by state and federal law
  • Generating weekly and monthly reports regarding sales information or areas to be improved upon
  • Ensuring proper updates of required software and training new employees as needed on company processes
  • Filing and organizing paperwork used to enter data into programs to keep a record of original documents

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree is required
  • Knowledge of office computer systems and software
  • Strong written and communication skills with clients and customers
  • Experience working in data entry software and maintaining detailed information regarding available stock and supplies or other data
  • Ability to effectively work within record software and update files accurately

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with data entry software and database management systems
