Role Description
Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group in collaboration with The Virtual Medicine Department at Houston Methodist is seeking a Nocturnal Virtual Hospitalist.
The Virtual Hospitalist program provides Virtual Hospitalist Medicine coverage to the Houston Methodist regional sites with ER presence strategically located throughout the Houston area.
Qualifications
- Strongly prefer candidates who have experience with virtual care delivery
- Board Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- A Texas Medical License or ability to obtain a Texas Medical License
- Must currently reside in Texas, Georgia, or Washington
- Must have the ability to work independently, and in a collaborative means
- Previous computer experience required
- High speed home internet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enhanced virtual care skill
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals across a system
