As a Customer Service Agent - Air Freight Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience, from initial inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent - Air Freight Operations, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with their air freight needs, including answering inquiries, computing cargo rates, initiating and completing cargo bookings, and performing security screenings
  • Processing airway bills and providing cargo rates and tracking information to customers
  • Performing computer and paperwork tasks to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer requests
  • Working in a warehouse environment, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform duties in varying capacities at the direction of management
  • Providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively

  • This is a union-represented position, and you'll be required to participate in paid training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service or community service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A typing speed of at least 25 WPM
  • Ability to participate in paid training
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp
  • Ability and willingness to work a non-traditional shift as needed (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized cargo system
  • Ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
