About the position As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) for the Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability, you will drive business process evolution on new or optimized processes supporting the end-to-end operations. You will have the responsibility to create or update processes partnering with Verizon operations, VGS - Business Consumer platform technical teams and our Third-party Logistics (3PL) warehouse vendors. When changes in technology tools are needed, you will create the business requirements, work through design, testing, training and implementation for the needed solution. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third-party partners) to facilitate and deliver the business solutions needed. Understanding operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability. Leading executive statuses and updates at various levels. Conducting, designing and building business process models based on best-in-class operations. Identifying, owning, and driving resolutions to gaps in the lifecycle delivery processes. Strategically roadmaping to support multiple projects in parallel. Leading and guiding cross-functional, internal and external teams to create and deliver complex, integrated solutions to meet our business processes and requirements. Creating and delivering training to end users. Developing, training and transition to production support teams after implementation and stabilization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction related field.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience in supporting SAP tool suites (ECC, S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG).
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams with an understanding of business and technical requirements.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Experience managing large-scale programs with end-to-end accountability.
  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment.
  • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements.
  • Five or more years of successful experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design.
  • Experience in communicating highly technical solutions to business partners in a simple manner.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization, and project management skills.
