Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Researching various destinations and travel options to provide clients with expert advice and recommendations
- Diagnosing client specifications and suggesting suitable travel packages and/or services to meet their needs
- Organizing travel from beginning to end, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients
- Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel materials to help them prepare for their trip
- Collecting deposits and managing client payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilizing promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itineraries and tour packages
- Handling unforeseen issues and determining eligibility for credits/refunds in a fair and customer-centric manner
- Maintaining relationships with key persons, including vendors and clients
- Keeping financial statements and documents up-to-date and accurate
- Seeking help and guidance when needed to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Demonstrating a passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in English; multilingualism is a plus
- Exemplary sales skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Well-versed in various areas of travel, including domestic, international, business, holidays, groups, and individual travel
- Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively with clients and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to handle crises and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner
- A reliable internet connection, computer, or smartphone
- Availability to attend live and recorded trainings and meetings
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt
- The ability to work independently, but also be passionate about travel and love helping others create unforgettable experiences

Compensation and Perks
