Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching various destinations and travel options to provide clients with expert advice and recommendations
  • Diagnosing client specifications and suggesting suitable travel packages and/or services to meet their needs
  • Organizing travel from beginning to end, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients
  • Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel materials to help them prepare for their trip
  • Collecting deposits and managing client payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Utilizing promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itineraries and tour packages
  • Handling unforeseen issues and determining eligibility for credits/refunds in a fair and customer-centric manner
  • Maintaining relationships with key persons, including vendors and clients
  • Keeping financial statements and documents up-to-date and accurate
  • Seeking help and guidance when needed to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrating a passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in English; multilingualism is a plus
  • Exemplary sales skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • Well-versed in various areas of travel, including domestic, international, business, holidays, groups, and individual travel
  • Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively with clients and vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to handle crises and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner
  • A reliable internet connection, computer, or smartphone
  • Availability to attend live and recorded trainings and meetings
  • Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • The ability to work independently, but also be passionate about travel and love helping others create unforgettable experiences

Compensation and Perks
