Responsibilities

As a Fully Remote Chat Support Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through live chat and email support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via email and live chat, providing accurate and complete information to resolve their issues.
  • Utilizing the Knowledge Base provided to ensure that customers receive consistent and high-quality support.
  • Resolving customer complaints and escalating issues as needed, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Achieving and maintaining established performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall support quality.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with chat software similar to Facebook Messenger, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, and other productivity tools.
  • Access to a laptop, phone, or tablet, and a reliable internet connection.
  • Basic English writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing.
