Job Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and processing sensitive data to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
  • Identifying and mitigating potential security risks to our data systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data protection and cybersecurity measures
  • Developing and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and cybersecurity

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and cybersecurity
  • A strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally and globally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • CISA certification
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
  • Knowledge of safety engineering and architecture principles
  • Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
  • Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products
  • Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
