MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Naval Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position.

In this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by delivering expert technical analysis and innovative solutions that enhance mission success and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, design, and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components

  • Analyze, modify, test, and maintain systems to meet performance, security, and compliance standards

  • Verify and validate systems to ensure alignment with internal and external requirements

  • Provide expert diagnosis and solutions for system issues in existing and new environments

  • Conduct engineering evaluations to support on-time, on-budget project completion

  • Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute project plans

  • Review policies, procedures, and performance reports to maintain regulatory and operational standards

  • Develop schedules, budgets, specifications, and resource plans for engineering projects

  • Select materials, tools, staff, and vendors to support system development and deployment

  • Lead or contribute to high-visibility Navy programs through specialized technical and business expertise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractor

  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05

  • Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacity

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $87,400.00-$145,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
