Digital Ministry Contractor

About us Christ Church Denver (CCD) seeks a Digital Ministry Contractor to help strengthen our digital presence and extend our ministry reach through compelling, creative, and faith-rooted online engagement. The ideal candidate will be a current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate with experience in communications, social media, digital marketing, and/or church ministry. Term of Engagement: The Digital Ministry Contractor will serve on a contractual basis for a period of 6-months beginning 1/1/2026. Scope of Services: The Digital Ministry Contractor will provide the following services to Christ Church Denver:

  • Audit and update all CCD social media channels (ensuring appropriate administrative access and security).
  • Develop a 6-month executable social media strategy and content calendar aligned with CCD’s mission.
  • Prepare social channels for paid digital ad campaigns.
  • Create, edit, and post content across Instagram, YouTube (shorts/long-form), TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Utilize AI tools (including large language models and AI-based video editing platforms such as Church.tech) to enhance storytelling, visual consistency, and productivity.
  • Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with ministry staff to integrate digital storytelling into worship, formation, and outreach efforts.

Schedule & Performance:

  • Contractor will provide services as scheduled and agreed upon in advance.
  • Contractor will determine the manner, method, and means of service delivery.
  • Professional conduct consistent with the mission and values of Christ Church Denver is expected.
  • Current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate in communications, marketing, media studies, or ministry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or growing social media channels or executing a successful digital campaign.
  • Strong skills in content creation, video editing, and digital storytelling.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted creative tools and platforms.
  • Excellent organization, initiative, and follow-through.

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be set within the range of $1,000 - $1,250 per month, depending on skills, experience, and the scope of services.
  • Final rate will be determined in writing at the time of engagement.
  • No taxes will be withheld; Contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes.
  • No employee benefits (health insurance, retirement, paid leave, etc.) are provided.
  • Contractor is responsible for all insurance coverage (health, disability, liability, etc.).
