Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and support our cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions that drive business value and inform strategic decisions. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our data pipelines, working with large datasets and complex data systems to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python

• Design and implement data pipelines to support business requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy
• Develop and maintain data sets, including creating and managing data tables, views, and indexes
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data models and machine learning algorithms
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools such as Docker and GitLab
• Work closely with our data governance team to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and data sets, including data dictionaries and data lineage

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Strong experience with Python and SQL, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
• Experience with developing and maintaining automated workflows and data pipelines using tools such as Docker and GitLab
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data systems, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar

• Proficiency in cloud design and product development, with a focus on AWS
• Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool such as GitLab or GitHub
• Experience using Docker and containerization
