Global Community Manager, The Sims - (6 months)

We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. We’re a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem. This Community Manager will support titles in The Sims franchise, with a focus on The Sims 4. You will develop and implement a multi-channel community strategy while engaging with our passionate players day-to-day. The Community Manager also plays a role as a liaison between studio and player, providing context to player feedback and contributing to outward-facing communication. Global Community Managers have five or more years of experience in relevant fields. Reporting to the Senior Lead Community Manager, you may work on-site at an Electronic Arts office or remote. Key Accountabilities

  • You support global community strategies to build lasting and welcoming communities for The Sims
  • You implement the community strategy daily with Senior Manager oversight
  • Collaborate with other teams across PR, Creator and Social to ensure achievement of tactics/campaign beats
  • Create community feedback/sentiment reports for Communications, Brand and Studio teams
  • Organize and moderate Community Councils to deliver audience-relevant feedback to Studio, Brand and Communications partners

Requirements

  • You will work with the Senior Lead to develop community strategies
  • You will be responsible for daily operation of the community strategies with domestic and international partner teams
  • You will oversee the production of community programming with PR and social media teams, including developer livestreams, blogs and studio spotlight pieces
  • Forge relationships with territory leads to ensure execution of plans are consistent globally
  • Grow our community voice, developing a shared culture and identity and maintaining a tight dialogue between the studio, EA, and players
  • Use the Creator Network program to grow community engagement
  • Build close relationships within studio teams
  • Cultivate relationships with top influencers, and players within the community
  • Partner with Integrated Comms team, Studio, Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure consistent community messaging across the organization
  • Collaborate and share with other EA Community Managers on standards and innovations
  • Manage patch notes creation and publishing
  • Up-to-date Community reporting on fan feedback, game issues, or relationship challenges
  • Maintain a positive reputation at work and within the community

Experience And Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Community Management or related field
  • Passion for gaming and an understanding of player motivations and needs
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organizational and task management abilities
  • Imaginative yet focused thinking on goals while driving unique and thoughtful programs
  • Knowledge of EA’s The Sims titles and The Sims lore

Us Compensation And Benefits The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $95,450 - $141,800 USD Annually

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $89,200 - $141,800 USD Annually

  • Jersey City, NJ :

º $105,250 - $141,800 USD Annually

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $89,200 - $118,550 USD Annually

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $89,200 - $130,750 USD Annually Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
