Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our Warehouse Operations and Logistics team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing data related to warehouse operations, including tracking inventory, managing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. This is a remote work opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $25/hour.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process data related to warehouse operations, including tracking inventory, managing shipments, and maintaining accurate records

  • Review and verify all inbound and outbound trailers, including trailer numbers, seal numbers, trailer status, and load information
  • Log trailer status and communicate with other teams, including switchers, dock managers, and transportation coordinators
  • Direct drivers to suitable areas in the yard for the drop-off and pick-up of trailers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure a smooth flow of operations
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, records, and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in data entry, warehousing, and logistics
  • Ability to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends, and stay at work longer than required as needed
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other administrative/organizational tools
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to focus on and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer screen, phone headset, and phone system
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to perform all listed duties regardless of facilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control software
  • Experience with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
