Job Summary

As a Hitch Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and exceptional customer service to our customers. You'll work in our moving and storage centers, using your knowledge and skills to install and endorse the proper tow packages on customer vehicles. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

* Understand and explain U-Haul's range of towing applications to customers

• Endorse and install the correct tow package on customer vehicles
• Provide excellent customer service and support to U-Haul customers
• Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

* Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record

• Basic wiring and hand/strength tool experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or hazardous chemicals. You may be required to use protective clothing or equipment, including masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, and moving around the facility. You may be required to lift and move equipment and supplies, and may be exposed to extreme temperatures or weather conditions.
