Job Summary

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for coordinating planes on the ground, handling cargo and baggage, and ensuring our ground operations run smoothly. This is a part-time, remote position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities

* Provide friendly and courteous service to internal and external customers, including passengers, baggage handlers, and other airline staff

• Work collaboratively with other Ground Operations teams to meet flight departure schedules
• Load, unload, and handle cargo, baggage, and mail as required
• Record and track cargo, baggage, and mail using arenaflex's data management system
• Perform various tasks related to aircraft handling, including fueling, cleaning, and preparing planes for departure
• Use jetway steps to transport checked baggage to the aircraft cargo hold
• Inspect cargo and baggage for accuracy and completeness, and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Clean and maintain aircraft interiors, including galleys, lavatories, and passenger areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, including driving and operating various equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, and lift trucks

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and work in a variety of weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate various equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts and issues in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role or industry

• Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
