Interstride supports over 550 schools in providing comprehensive assistance to international students throughout their academic and professional journeys. From admissions to career development, Interstride’s platforms enhance services for admissions and international student support services (ISSS) teams by improving student engagement and retention. For career centers, Interstride addresses resource gaps, offering tools for career advancement and immigration guidance tailored to the needs of international students and alumni. Role Description This is a part-time, remote contract role for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing strategies to expand Interstride’s reach, engage its audience, and drive organizational goals. Responsibilities include digital advertising, social media management, content creation, campaign management, and data analysis to evaluate marketing performance and opportunities for growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with company objectives will also be a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media marketing, with a primary focus on LinkedIn
  • Plan, schedule, publish, and optimize posts
  • Monitor engagement, analyze performance, and recommend improvements
  • Develop, coordinate, and distribute email newsletters
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure messaging and visuals align with brand standards
  • Track and report on performance metrics
  • Support strategic marketing initiatives
  • Assist in campaign planning and execution
  • Provide insights based on performance data, audience engagement, and market trends
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral
  • Sales decks, one-pagers, presentations, case studies, and digital assets
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
  • Provide input into marketing strategy
  • Contribute ideas to improve reach, engagement, and conversion
  • Share insights from channel performance and industry best practices
  • Work cross-functionally with design, content, and leadership teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed, including occasional travel

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience of proven experience in digital marketing, marketing communications, or a related field including using platforms for social media management and paid advertising

Knowledge in Marketing Strategy development, experience with Data Analysis and Marketing Analytics tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, Masters preferred
  • Strong marketing background with experience in both execution and strategic support
  • Proven experience working with B2B SaaS companies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Well-developed design aesthetics and experience collaborating closely with design teams
  • Experience in higher education and/or international organizations is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support marketing initiatives (a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a part-time capacity

Skills & Tools

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Experience with social media management and scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and reporting
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
