Product Development Specialist (P&C)

PURE Insurance is seeking a Product Development Specialist to assist in the development and implementation of coverage related projects. The role involves maintaining policy forms and endorsements while collaborating with various business units to drive coverage innovation and respond to legislative changes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of comprehensive coverage initiatives, which drive growth and increase our competitiveness in the market
  • Monitor countrywide legislative changes and recommend any coverage impact of those changes
  • Analyze coverage in existing states and assist in recommending, filing and implementing changes from filing through systems implementation
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitor actions, industry developments and Member needs and drive coverage innovation to meet the needs of PURE’s target market
  • Assist in the creation of system specifications for coverage and form changes within our policy management system

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required with 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to comprehend, interpret and draft moderate to complex policy language
  • High degree of personal organization and time management skills; Ability to work autonomously and in a self-directed manner and manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience using Word and Excel
  • Eagerness to develop new skills and enhance expertise
