Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our databases, ensuring accuracy, and providing timely reports to support business decisions. You will be responsible for entering new information, creating and managing spreadsheets, and performing comparative analysis to maintain data probity. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in meeting the demands of this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Input new information into database systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Create and manage spreadsheets using MS Office Word, Excel, and other tools
  • Perform comparative analysis of different sources to maintain data probity and accuracy
  • Regularly update existing database system records to reflect changes and updates
  • Produce reports as requested by management or stakeholders
  • Retrieve data as required for analysis, reporting, or other business purposes
  • Perform regular backup and security database activities to ensure data integrity and security
  • Document, organize, and store relevant documents and records in a secure and accessible manner

Requirements

* Previous working experience as a data entry clerk for at least 1 year

  • Fast typing skills with a minimum of 60 words per minute
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools, databases, and spreadsheet software (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • 1 year of experience with spreadsheets, including data analysis and reporting
  • Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve data-related issues
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time-management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting techniques
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database management systems (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Certification in data entry, data analysis, or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
