Youth Program Coordinator

Vermont Works for Women (VWW) seeks a Youth Program Coordinator to provide support for the day-to-day coordination and implementation of youth programming. This role is primarily responsible for logistics, planning, and organizing of programs, outreach and recruitment of youth participants and program partners, and active engagement with youth and program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and develops youth activities and programs focused on career exploration
  • Leads activities with youth participants, serving as a motivating, inspiring, and engaging role model
  • Assists in organizing curriculum materials, including social/emotional "Power Skills," STEM, and skilled trades technical lessons
  • Schedules programs, manages hands-on activities, creates monthly agendas, and engages mentors while fostering school and business connections
  • Assists in developing program evaluation tools and enters program data using participant and partner surveys

Skills

  • Experience in coordinating and developing youth activities and programs focused on career exploration
