Entry Level Remediation Engineer - Immediate Start

They are seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join their North Carolina Environmental Remediation Team, where the role involves delivering innovative solutions for environmental site characterization and remediation projects. Responsibilities include managing fieldwork logistics, data analysis, technical report writing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, performing, or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations
  • Coordinating and managing fieldwork logistics
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Technical report writing
  • Participating in meetings with clients and regulators

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with a concentration in environmental or a related field
  • Local (or willing to relocate) to North Carolina(Charlotte, or Raleigh/Cary) with ability to travel up to 60% - 75%
  • Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and data management software
  • United States Citizenship and valid drivers license
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, or other closely related technical field
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER certification
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain one 12 months after hire
