Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Osseo Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dependable, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This role supports the daily operations of the Chamber and plays an important part in maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Chamber membership and business records
  • Track membership renewals and contact members regarding renewals
  • Reach out to local businesses to: Answer questions about the Chamber, Learn how the Chamber can support them, Encourage non-member businesses to join
  • Attend monthly Chamber meetings and assist with Chamber events as needed
  • Monitor and manage the Chamber email inbox
  • Update and maintain the Chamber’s online event calendar
  • Assist with the coordination of Chamber events, meetings, and initiatives
  • Communicate and collaborate with other local organizations and community partners

Skills

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Basic proficiency with computer spreadsheets, email, and online tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
  • Friendly, professional, and confident in communicating with local business owners/organizations
  • Interest in community involvement and local economic development
