Key Responsibilities

As a Social Media Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and Responding to Customer Inquiries: Engage with Disney fans on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others, to provide timely and accurate information regarding Disney products, services, and policies.
  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Address customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to maintain a consistent and high-quality support experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is a magical one.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Disney Promotions and Updates: Keep current with Disney's latest promotions, events, and updates to provide informed responses to customers and suggest improvements to our social media engagement strategies.
  • Utilizing Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to our social media engagement strategies.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent Written Communication Skills: A strong command of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively with customers through various social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Social Media Platforms: Experience using social media platforms for professional purposes, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other customer support tools, as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience in Customer Service or Social Media Support: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or social media support, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge of Disney Products and Services: Familiarity with Disney's products, services, and brand values.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CRM software and other customer support tools.
