[Remote] Group Premium Services Representative -Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mutual of Omaha is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Group Premium Services Representative. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate group premium processing and collection while addressing customer inquiries and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform premium processing, address customer inquiries, and maintain confidentiality. You'll resolve issues to exceed customer expectations while maintaining efficiency, quality, and timeliness
• Analyze statements, oversee premium payments for groups, and uphold data integrity in company systems
• Ensure accuracy in billing statements and premium payments. Identify, evaluate and resolve eligibility and billing entries
• Identify and communicate premium and eligibility errors as needed
• Maintain certholder eligibility and premium application. Ensure full compliance with coverage requirements outlined in policyholder contracts and relevant state and federal regulations

Skills

• Strong background in working with numbers in a billing capacity
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard and calculator, as well as proficient typing and data entry skills with strict attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility
• You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Experience in professional office roles involving insurance products, and accounting
• Knowledge of contract provisions and the ability to communicate in terms a customer can understand regarding premium collection
