[Remote] Product Designer

The role of Product Designer involves contributing to user experience and interface design, collaborating with product managers and engineers, and supporting the creation of design systems to ensure consistency across products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to user experience and interface design across features by creating flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate requirements into intuitive, user‑centered solutions
• Participate in user research activities, including observing interviews, synthesizing insights, and helping validate design decisions
• Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and documentation to ensure consistency across the product
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability findings, and data, refining solutions with guidance from more senior designers
• Communicate design rationale clearly through presentations, critiques, and written documentation
• Collaborate with engineering during implementation to ensure high‑quality execution of design intent

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
• Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 1+ year(s) relevant internship/work experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 2+ years related work experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
