Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together YOUR MISSION True Anomaly is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead mission-critical programs from concept to execution, integrating technical, schedule, and cost baselines to deliver space-based capabilities with precision and agility. In this cross-functional leadership role, you will drive strategic direction, manage complex program lifecycles, oversee subcontractor performance, and lead high-impact teams across engineering, operations, and mission delivery. Your expertise in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and program execution will play a key role in advancing our national security mission and operational excellence in the space domain. This role will play a fundamental role in expanding True Anomaly’s missile defense program from prototype to production phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage one of three programs: Propulsion, Kill Vehicle, or AI&T
• Manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations
• Create, implement, and own the coordinated program baseline (cost, schedule, technical) with the chief engineer
• Coordinate between core business and new business driving towards commonality of approach to facilitate scale.
• Coordinate testing of vehicle and subcomponent with test director and chief engineer to optimize learnings and schedule.
• Support the financial analysis driving towards build vs buy decisions for vertical integration, coordinating with finance, supply chain and engineering.
• Facilitate vertical integration though execution of capex programs as we onboard more and more products through development lifetime.
• Direct the responsibilities and activities of the program team including program management, systems engineering, communications and IT, mission operations, facilities management, security, safety, and contracts/financial/supply chain support functions
• Support establishing a centralized, coordinating body for PM concerns, recommendations, & issues; developing recommended process improvements; facilitating opportunities with Finance
• Provide strategic direction, set priorities, and resolve day-to-day issues to deliver schedule and budget
• Perform risk/issue assessments, tracking, resolution, escalation, and closeout to ensure satisfactory program performance
• Develop innovative solutions to resolve difficult program challenges including cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Oversee and manage subcontractor activities in addition oversee propulsion supply chain
• Lead preparations of bids, proposals, studies, and deliverables, and develop detailed basis of estimates to support each opportunity
• Develop and lead internal and external program management reviews, aligning with customer expectations and requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience and skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and expertise in the program management disciplines
• Full life cycle experience from development to deployment of a space relevant system
• Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management and holding people accountable
• Demonstrated experience managing risk and cost, schedule, and technical baselines for an aerospace, engineering, or software development program
• Experience working with propulsion systems (SRMS or liquid)
• Strong analytical background with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes.
• Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes
• Strong presentation skills
• Eligible for Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience

• Program Manager II: BS degree or higher in Management or Engineering or a related field is required plus 8 or more years related experience
• Program Manager III: BS degree or higher in Management or Engineering or a related field is required plus 10 or more years related experience
• Senior Program Manager: BS degree or higher in Management or Engineering or a related field is required plus 14 or more years related experience.
• Active TS/SCI US government security clearance with SCI eligibility strongly preferred
