[Remote] Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for creating a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and engaging potential customers to convert leads into sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Source 65–75% of your pipeline via outbound prospecting
  • Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
  • Book 8–12 qualified meetings per month
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy above 90%
  • Convert 20–30% of inbound leads into sales conversations
  • Make 50–70 outbound calls and send 25–40 tailored emails daily
  • Execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns
  • Engage decision-makers with insight and confidence
  • Partner with Marketing to drive event attendance and net-new opportunities
  • Share feedback with leadership to improve process and training

Skills

  • Experience in a sales or BDR/SDR role with track record of hitting goals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRMs
  • Strong communication skills—especially by phone
  • Objection-handling savvy and relationship-building instincts
  • Analytical mindset and commitment to data-driven decisions
  • Smarts & curiosity to understand our market and customers
  • Coachability & work ethic to grow fast and stay resilient
  • Proven responsibility, honesty, and a track record of showing up and delivering results
