Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement abuse
• Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent adversarial abuse, using data-driven insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Partner with the Policy Development team to create policies that describe harmful behavior, using account, social, and content signals
• Deliver high-quality and efficient operational performance, with a focus on quality, service levels, and talent development
• Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to improve detection and tooling, and with the Global Merchant Operations team to manage scaled enforcement

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/deploying analytical models
• At least 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as accelerations require

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• At least 2 years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection
• Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities
• Knowledge of SQL, R, or Matlab
• Excellent influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
• Strong business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action
