Responsibilities
As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing prompt, accurate, and friendly support as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining a strong work ethic, with a total commitment to success each and every day
- Developing new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients
- Selling, soliciting, servicing, and negotiating insurance plans based on the needs of your assigned or prospective customers' portfolio
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Property & Casualty (P&C) license or the willingness to obtain one
- Prior experience in insurance, banking, or other related financial settings (2+ years preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- A proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
- A motivated and determined attitude, with a passion for sales and customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Life & Health license
- Sales experience (5+ years preferred)
- Financial services experience
- Prior experience as a teacher or educator
