Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll be responsible for:
- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions
- Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
- Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a regular basis to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
- Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as metrics prioritization and outlier recognition
- Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert
Key Qualifications
* Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
- Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
- Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems (Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
