Lead Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement
Job Description
Summary Due to the nature of U.S. Government and military projects, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens only Hybrid role – expected to work on-site three days per week. The Sourcing and procurement specialist is responsible to appraise and improve our purchasing activities by analyzing spend and supplier base, drive days to pay, price negotiations, purchase order placement, new supplier’s qualification and on-time delivery improvement. The professional will manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance to all GE Power Conversion & Storage policies and procedures, while achieving the best overall value. The position requires understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures to enable sourcing and procurement execution. >>> Flexibility to travel up to 20%, supporting both domestic and international business needs.
