Hotel Investor Apps (HIA Software) ​ HIA Software is a fast-growing ERP software company focused on hospitality located in Glenwood, MD. We are seeking a detailed oriented, customer focused ERP Software Implementation Specialist with a strong accounting background. This role will serve as a functional expert and lead our customers through the implementation, design, and onboarding of HIA Software, which is a unique, hotel-specific ERP built on the Acumatica ERP platform. This includes but is not limited to financial and analytics report building and design, database setup, coordinating the integration of hotel Property Management System (PMS) data and historical data from the customer’s previous accounting software into the HIA software platform and some training in the HIA software. This candidate will also provide post implementation support to customers and must provide exceptional, and seamless service for the client and their needs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an implementation manager on the Acumatica ERP platform, experience and interest in accounting software, analytics and the hotel industry with excellent data skills. Preferred qualities include excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, the ability to delegate duties to other team members and strong time management and organizational skills. As a ERP Implementation & Support Lead you will provide guidance and support to our clients by providing software training to assist the implementation of HIA Software and provide on-going customer support. ​ Essential Duties: The duties listed below are the essential functions of this position, and they may change as the needs of the company demand. All employees are expected to do what is necessary to get the work done and to cooperate fully with their supervisor’s requests for additional or altered duties. ​

  • Leads new customers through the HIA Software ERP implementation, ensuring the customer's property data, financial data, accounts payable data and possible payroll data are imported and configured accurately.
  • Manages implementation timelines to ensure project deliverables and customer launch dates are met.
  • Provides recommendations to clients as to how they can best use the HIA accounting software and related products.
  • Communicates with clients on implementing third-party independent software vendor solutions (ISV) solutions
  • Works with other members of the HIA team to ensure all customer needs are delivered through an integrated implementation approach.
  • Identify issues and provide fixes, implement enhancements, and manage multiple clients through efficient task management
  • Monitors the implementation process for potential issues and promptly escalates issues as needed to ensure the customer's needs are met and the implementation process schedule is maintained.
  • Financial Report and Analytical report writing
  • Create charts and graphs for data analysis using industry specific key performance indicators.
  • Contributes to the evolution and improvement of the Hotel Investor App Implementation process by providing feedback and sharing ideas that will increase customer satisfaction, drive efficiency, or enhance our technical capability.
  • Assist in creating/updating customer implementation documentation and create solutions by using internal and customer resources, and industry knowledge.
  • Provide pre-sales support to the Sales Team, as necessary.
  • Cross Train in the HIA ERP as you become an expert in specific areas.
  • Customer Support post-implementation
  • Any additional administrative duties as assigned by the department manager ​ Education/Training/Skill and Equivalent Experience: ​
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management or Data Analytics.
  • Software Implementation experience preferred with strong technical skills within ERP implementation (configuration, data design, reporting, customization, training)
  • ERP certification, such as Acumatica Certified Business Consultant, or certifications from another ERP such as Oracle or SAP
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English.
  • Strong technical aptitude and capabilities
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • arenaflex PowerBI or Tableau experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years’ experience of mid-market ERP implementation experience, business analyst, or power-user experience (Sage, Intacct, Acumatica, MS D365, Netsuite, etc.)
  • Proven knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel). Apply tot his job
