DevOps And Cloud Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Engineering team, you will play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your work will ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency, enabling seamless collaboration between engineering, security, and operations teams. A typical day will include:

• Building and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support scalable and high-performance applications.

• Developing and refining CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery efficiency and reliability.

• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, ensuring high availability and resilience.

• Collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and compliance.

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, adopting new tools and methodologies to enhance cloud engineering capabilities.

• Providing mentorship and technical leadership to support team growth and foster knowledge sharing.

You will be expected to demonstrate ownership, accountability, and leadership while aligning with the organization’s vision and values.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines

• AWS Cloud experience is a must have

• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management

• Experience designing and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures

• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability best practices

• Strong scripting and automation skills for operational efficiency

• Experience working with security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments

• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across distributed systems

• Experience with support for the rapidly evolving AI/Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) development, enabling faster deployment and scaling of AI/ML workloads

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
