As a key member of our Call Center, you will play a vital role in responding to patient inquiries, resolving billing issues, and providing exceptional customer service via email and live chat.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Billing Email and Chat Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: ### Email Support

  • Respond to patient emails regarding medical billing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve billing issues promptly and accurately, providing clear and concise information to patients.
  • Provide accurate information on billing, insurance, and payment options, ensuring that patients understand their options and responsibilities.

### Live Chat Support

  • Engage with patients via live chat, addressing billing questions and concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner.
  • Utilize our knowledge base and resources to provide accurate and up-to-date information to patients.
  • Troubleshoot billing issues and escalate complex concerns to ensure that patients receive the support they need.

### Customer Service

  • Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Educate patients on billing processes and insurance options, ensuring that they understand their responsibilities and options.
  • Document patient interactions and resolutions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

### Data Entry and Record-Keeping

  • Accurately update patient records and billing information, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in medical billing or healthcare.
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Billing Specialist (CBS).

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
