Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, registering sales, and providing courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
  • Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items
  • Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested
  • Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
  • Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
  • Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
  • Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
  • Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
  • Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Previous customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting
  • Experience working with cash registers and operating point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
